Ingredients
- ½ cup part-skim ricotta cheese
- 2 Tbsp water
- ⅛ tsp ground black pepper
- 8 oz hot sausage
- ¼ cup finely chopped yellow onion
- ¾ cup tomato sauce with basil, garlic & oregano
- 40 Party Cups
- ⅓ cup shredded part-skim mozzarella
- Chopped parsley (optional)
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350°F. Stir together ricotta, water and pepper; set aside. Heat a large skillet over medium-high; add sausage and onion and cook 5 minutes, until crumbled. Drain; stir in tomato sauce. Place party cups on a shallow baking pan; divide the meat mixture between cups and spoon ricotta on top. Sprinkle with mozzarella. Bake 15 minutes, until hot and cheese melts. Sprinkle with parsley, if desired.
