Classic Manhattan Cocktail

This classic drink originated at the Manhattan Club in New York City in the mid 1870s. The original "Manhattan cocktail" was a mix of Whiskey, Italian Vermouth, and Angostura bitters, however during the Prohibition (1920–1933) Canadian whisky was primarily used because it was available. Garnish it with Sable & Rosenfeld's Whiskey Tipsy Cherries for a sweet finish.

  1. In an old-fashioned glass filled with ice combine whiskey, vermouth and bitters.
  2. Stir and garnish with Whiskey Tipsy Cherries or Bourbon Tipsy Dark Reserve Cherries.
